New-Aged Original Soul band “J & The Causeways” were founded on a hot summer’s night in New Orleans at the Maple Leaf Bar by Lead Singer/Songwriter Jordan Anderson. He envisioned a group so infectiously authentic and soulful that the audience could practically feel it’s warm embrace at any performance. With stunning lead vocals, refined songwriting, a powerhouse rhythm section, and wonderfully intricate horn and guitar melodies, the group began sculpting a robust festival-style sound, winning over crowds at every step.
J & The Causeways have shared the stage with notable acts such as The Revivalists, Sublime, George Porter Jr., Better Than Ezra, Marc Broussard, Flow Tribe, Bonerama, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Tab Benoit, and others. J & The Causeways regularly perform at Maple Leaf Bar, Howlin Wolf, and the legendary Tipitina’s in their hometown of New Orleans. Says Jordan, “The goal of our band is to spread the value of love, the strength of vulnerability, and the power of connection with new music for the old soul.”
